Attenuator Calculator
A free, open-source calculator for T and Pi attenuators.

I prefer calculators having no tedius Calculate button which needs to be re-clicked over and over, entering trials one at a time. Mine runs as a free-running loop. Start it, and enter a value. Change that entry and see a new value. Or just click in a box then make play with your keyboard's up/down arrow keys.

- Calculates for either power or voltage.
- Gives also power dissipation for each component.
- Provides a schematic of each circuit type.
- Currently only just T and Pi.
- In a future update, ballanced attenuators as well.
- The EULA provided as a humorous poem.
You’ll need two things for it to run: my *.exe application itself, plus also the interpreter program on which it runs. Kind of like Java that way, except that the Java interpreter is probably pre-installed on your system. The LabVIEW run-time engine will not be.
-
LabVIEW Runtime Engine
- This is the interpretor program.
- Or, should it please you, the entire LabVIEW programming environment.

-
KY8D_Attenuator_Calculator.exe
- Unzips as a folder. Keep all together. Elsewise the schematics won't show, and you'll see something strange instead of the Unicode symbol for Ohms.
- Source Code, for any who want it.
- Here too is my source code to do with just as you please. And although I will take it very kindly if given credit, I do not insist you must do so.
