A tilt-up stand for the Mission RGO One, angled for use from the passenger’s side of a car. Use it while parked, or during the XYL’s (OM’s?) turn at the wheel. Maybe at a park bench without table? Anywhere, really.
Stand is laser cut from 316-alloy stainless steel, 18GA (1.27mm). Metric 1.25mm would also serve. If cut from other thicknesses the slot widths should first be adjusted. Designed in Rhinocerous 3D CAD, version 7.
Plans are provided in AutoCAD (*.dwg) format. Download slightly improved version: ZIP
Straps are McMaster-Carr: LINK In photos above they show double-wrapped. The excess length allows for single wrapping to secure an external speaker or auto-tuner remote control (such as the LDG TR-100).
Stand becomes rigid with an RGO One installed, as the back-angled front plate meets the forward-angled rear plate exactly beneath the RGO One’s protuding front feet and bale. Gravity then does its thing, with the bale’s return spring helping slightly. Floorboard clearance allows for all back side cable connections.
